Service adviser

Permanent positionLight or heavy vehiclesSix locations

AutoArkki is a family-owned vehicle service chain. We have six locations, two of which also service heavy vehicles. We are looking for a service adviser for the workshop reception—the point where the customer and workshop meet.

The role

The service adviser connects the workshop and the customer. You receive the vehicle, record the work order, agree on a completion time and hand the vehicle back. You make sure the customer always knows what is happening.

The role also includes sales: you explain what should be done now and what can wait until the next service. You use the workshop system daily and keep customer information up to date.

You work closely with supervisors, technicians and spare-parts staff. When the calendar is full and a customer calls with an emergency, the solution is found together.

A typical day

In the morning, the calendar looks manageable. By noon, one vehicle has been on the lift longer than planned, a spare part will not arrive until tomorrow, and a customer is waiting for a vehicle promised by three.

The person who succeeds in this role makes that call early and explains matters directly. Most customers understand a delay. Few understand why nobody told them.

Light or heavy vehicles

You can join either side, and we will tell you about both in the interview.

Light vehicles

Cars and vans, scheduled servicing, warranty processing, tyre storage and two annual peak seasons when the calendar is full weeks ahead.

Heavy vehicles

Trucks and combinations, service-contract customers and on-call work. Vehicle downtime costs the customer by the hour, which affects schedules, calls and the speed of communication.

What we expect

  • Customer service experience—not necessarily from the automotive sector
  • The ability to explain difficult matters clearly and promptly
  • Calmness when the day does not go to plan
  • A willingness to learn enough vehicle technology to understand what you discuss
  • Fluent Finnish and confidence using information systems
  • A valid driving licence

Technical education or previous workshop experience is an advantage, but not required. A good service adviser is a customer service professional first.

What we offer

  • A permanent position in a family-owned company
  • Induction alongside an experienced service adviser
  • The opportunity to choose which side you work on
  • Training and future opportunities, for example in workshop supervision
  • Occupational health care and lunch and exercise benefits

How to apply

We do not ask you for an application letter.

Have a conversation instead. It asks more precise questions based on what you say. At the end, you receive the same report by email that the recruiter would receive.

The report does not score or judge you. It records what you said.

Resident services coordinator

Housing services12 propertiesThree locations

KajoKoti Services is a housing services company that keeps everyday life running smoothly at 12 properties in three locations. To us, good housing means more than functional premises: residents should know whom to contact, receive help when needed and be treated properly even when a situation is difficult.

We are now looking for a resident services coordinator to strengthen resident service and coordinate daily life at our properties.

What will you do?

As a resident services coordinator, you are an important contact between residents, their families and our service providers. Your days combine meeting people with arranging practical matters.

For example, you will:

  • receive resident enquiries and determine what each situation requires
  • coordinate practical matters related to maintenance, housing and other services
  • keep residents informed about progress
  • work with property maintenance, service providers and other KajoKoti staff
  • record agreements and ensure the right information reaches the right people
  • prioritise when several matters require attention at once
  • meet disappointed, worried or agitated residents and help move the situation forward calmly.

Not every situation is resolved with the first call. It is therefore important that you can establish what happened, explain the next steps and follow through on agreed actions.

What do we expect?

This role suits someone who enjoys working with people while keeping several practical matters organised.

We particularly value:

  • clear and calm communication
  • the ability to listen and identify the customer’s real need
  • initiative and practical problem solving
  • the ability to prioritise urgent and less urgent situations
  • collaboration with different people and service providers
  • care in recording and following up agreements
  • the ability to remain constructive in challenging customer situations.

Previous experience in housing, customer service, social and health care, property services or other coordinating service work is useful. You do not need to know everything in advance. A willingness to learn KajoKoti’s practices and service network is equally important.

What kind of workplace is KajoKoti?

People in many different life situations live in KajoKoti’s 12 properties. In one day, a coordinator may face a simple practical question, an urgent maintenance issue and a resident who needs time to feel heard.

Successful service does not mean always giving the customer the answer they want. It means investigating the matter, explaining the options clearly and ensuring that the customer knows what happens next.

You may use your judgement, but you do not have to solve matters alone. Other KajoKoti employees and partners in different fields support you.

What do we offer?

We offer a responsible and varied role in which you see the direct impact of your work on residents’ daily lives. You work independently and with professionals from different fields while helping KajoKoti improve its resident service.

Above all, we seek someone who can keep everyday situations moving—even when everything does not go to plan.

Interested?

We want to get to know more than your application text.

As part of the process, you can take part in a KajoKoti Services job interview and describe, in your own words, your experience, how you handle customer situations and how you organise and solve practical matters.
